In addition to regular opening hours, the State Hall and the museums of the Austrian National Library will be open on May 25, 2026.

Opening hours during the holidays

The reading rooms of the Austrian National Library will be closed on Sunday, May 24 (Whit Sunday), Monday, May 25 (Whit Monday) and Thursday, June 4, 2026 (Corpus Christi).

Papyrus Museum

Due to an event, the Papyrus Museum will not open until 12 p. m. on June 10, 2026.

State Hall

Due to an event, the State Hall will already close at 6 p.m. on June 11, 2026.

Augustinian Reading Room

Due to an event, from June 17 to 18, 2026, the Augustinian Reading Room service will take place in the Study Reading Room of the Department of Manuscripts and Rare Books.
